This is our IDP I Final Project- Memorabilia .We were asked to design a music store based on the music style and the design style that we get.The music style that i got was Hip Hop music, while the design style that i got was Deconstruction style.
Hip Hop is a music genre consisting of a stylized rhythmic music that commonly accompanies rapping, a rhythmic and rhyming speech that is chanted.  It developed as part of hip hop culture, a subculture defined by four key stylistic elements: MCing, Djing, break dance and graffiti writing
Deconstructivism in architecture was born in the late 80s of the twentieth century. Its characteristic feature is the idea of fragmentation. It also manipulates the surface and the cover of the construction. It is dominated by curvilinear shapes, which are supposed to disturb and dislocate the skeleton of the object. The structure of the building has a feeling of controlled chaos and stimulating unpredictability. Deconstruction is a continuation of an earlier architecture style - postmodernism. Delighted by the new, experimental forms and geometric structure destabilization.

We were asked to produce 6 A2 size presentation boards, including the introduction of music, design style characteristic and inspiration, details of the product, 3D details and methods of display, brief of the shop name, design, plan, section and  4 perspectives drawing. A model in 1;50 scale, material board.

Rhythm Wall - Hip Hop

Tag line -- RAP MORE THAN WORDS.
Hip Hop music also called Rap music, is a music genre consisting of a stylized rhythmic music that commonly accompanies rapping. Hip Hop is seat sing, is actually can express your feeling as well more than words. Hip hop as music and culture formed and popular in New York City, so i choose to use the New York City as the black disc body part, and the building high followed the Hip Hop music beat. The curve inside the black disc is actually represented the skate park, hip hop lover always play skateboard and to exchange their Hip Hop music experience, rap to express their feeling. They also like to do the graffiti writing on the wall, to vent their dissatisfaction. They like to express their dissatisfied with rap,  if you listen to the music you can feel that. No words in Hip Hop, Rap more than word.

Interior Design Project 1: First Assignment

Infographic Board

In the first day of the IDP1 class, we were given a music genre, this assignment is to research and understand the music genre that have been given. We were devided into 5 people per group. Our group's music genre for this assignment is HIP HOP. We were asked to design a A1 size infographic board. Before started, we have to research about HIP HOP music. After that we discussed about the design for the board, at last we decided to use the both sides of the board to do some pop up arts,3D drawings, 3D paper craft and graffiti stencil.

For the design part, I'm in charge of the most famous and iconnie hip hop artist from 70s to 21 century.

Print out the iconic and cut out anything that will be painted to visualize the image to come out. After that, using spray adhesive to secure the stencil to the board. The most difficult part ----- SPRAY it! I test to spray it using spray paint many times because of the stencil's security not stable and make it failed. But finally i done it! Other members were also work hard for their part. At last we combine everything and tried to make it more intresting. We tried our best to create this infographic board.

This is our infographic board!!!
